Getting There

By Car

Type "Glynwood, Cold Spring" into Google maps to reach the farm. The entrance is off Route 301, between Route 9 and the Taconic State Parkway. A large red “Glynwood” sign is located at the top of the road.

After entering the site, proceed slowly up Glynwood Road for approximately two miles. You will drive along a dirt road through a wooded area, then reach a paved area and pass a lake, a number of farmhouses and two large red barns. Continue along the road past these buildings, following signs for the office and parking area.

There is a new entrance to Glynwood, with a paved road. The old entrance listed above is still accessible, it's just not paved. The new entrance is off Big Woods Road on Rt. 301. It will come up as "big woods trailhead parking - fahnestock, Phillipstown" in google maps. At the bottom of the road is a large sign that says BIG WOODS TRAILHEAD. Take the road all the way to the end where you come to a parking lot, and then turn right into Glynwood. Continue onto a dirt road and follow signs for Perkins House.
